Shakespearian plays, youtube awesomeness, and downright informative soundbites of hard core Reformed Theology. That's right, our latest newsletter has just converged on the cyberworld! This issue concentrates on this thing we call the Covenant of Grace. We begin with a reminder that the story of the Bible is not a tragedy, and then see how the Covenant spans Scripture. We also take two articles to briefly consider how this covenant thing makes our worship and parenting distinct from what you might get elsewhere. If you are not currently in the loop, make sure you subscribe!

Yep, you heard right: Calvinistic pick up lines. That's just one of the things you'll find in our church's latest newsletter. Of course, it is chuck full of many other tasty morsels which are of a more edifying nature. This issue is dedicated to covenant theology. Covenant theology is the interpretive key to Scripture and helps us understand how God relates to us. This issue will define a covenant for you and begin to unravel the covenants of Scripture. We've got a great newsletter this month! It is overflowing with good stuff. This month we continue our series of "So you think you are Reformed?" with a look at each of the Five Points of Calvinism. What's even better is that a few congregation members stepped up to take a petal of the five points. I have to hand it to them too, each of them was able to do a phenomenal job, despite being confined to less than 600 words! Our latest newsletter is hot off the presses. Articles include: Being Reformed--so cool, yet so clueless; Origins of Reformed theology; Directives Against Gluttony. Check it out here. Here is a link to our church's latest newsletter. You may want to check it out. The lead article shows, contrary to popular opinion, just how horrid Christmas really is. It's got some other jolly good stuff in it too, such as poetry, an update on Ohio's Heartbeat Bill, and some other edifying, Christmas-y stuff. And, in case you missed it, here is a link to our newsletter archives. You can check out our previous issues and grab all the goodies there. And by all means, feel free to subscribe and have future issues delivered right to your inbox. |
