Matt Timmons is a member of the Ohio Presbytery (PCA) and currently serves as a minister of the gospel at Hopewell Church in Ashland, OH. He also teaches college level Bible and theology courses at Richland County Correctional.
Matt is a native of Ashland and has desired to minister in the Ashland area much of his life. After graduating from Ashland High School (’95) he attended Grove City College (’99) in order to begin his theological training. His areas of concentration were Christian Thought, philosophy, and communications. After college Matt attended Mid-America Reformed Seminary in Dyer, IN where he received his Masters of Divinity (’04). In the Spring of 2005 he was ordained as a minister of the gospel in the Presbyterian Church in America and installed as the pastor of Covenant Reformed Fellowship. Matt has also taught Bible at the high school level (’00-01) and continues to assist the home educators in the area by occasionally offering several courses.
Above all, Matt has the blessed privilege of being married to an astounding Proverbs 31 wife and the father of four beautiful children. Matt has also recently started a new local news outlet called The Ashland Free Press. |
